Got unexpained "access denied" troubles keeping people from your content? Go to admin/content/node-settings, and try the 'Rebuild Permissions' button.
If that doesn't work, see other ideas for access denied for visitors and access denied for admins.

Anyone using Read More should check out your improved version (first on a test site, of course). Are the changes submitted to the module maintainer?
I probably would have jumped at it not long ago, though after many hassles with teasers, right now I want to leave well enough alone (at least for this site). I may have chance to test it out on another site soon. Thanks for the message!
