The basic concept of a CMS (content management system) like Drupal, is that you don't create pages as a whole. You create bits of content and other elements (nodes, blocks, header, navigation...) and you configure the CMS so that it puts your page together on the spot.

No, I haven't checked out Drupal 6 yet – and I fully expect that it will perfectly address some of my wishes. Plus some wishes I don't yet know I have.

I'm remiss in not exploring it yet. If I want to serve fellow beginners, I should get aboard 6 early and deliver reports to other newbies. Will do so!
