Tired of logging in again and again to a Drupal site that keeps kicking you out? You can modify session length, i.e. the length of time that a logged-in session stays logged in, via the ini_set('session.cookie_lifetime'... line in the site's settings.php file. See details in Forum Finds: Modify length of user login sessions.

Online Finds: Custom search forms with Views and Fastsearch
How much does Merlin Mann of 43 Folders like Drupal's Views? Take a look for yourself:

Aye yi yi, that's way too much!
But he's got reason for that love, as he notes when he links to a Lullabot tutorial on building a nifty custom search form sporting filters for taxonomy terms and content types.

If you've got need for a search function with more oomph than the built-in model offers, then this – or some variation of it you concoct – could be just the thing. It's a nice introduction to the deep and powerful Views module, as well as to another module (views_fastsearch) many of us won't be familiar with; and it's a good tutorial project for an energetic Drupal student.
More good stuff from the people at Lullabot. Have at it!
