I certainly can't call this the first Tokyo-area Drupal gathering; people from Japan's small (?) community of Drupal users have no doubt held meetings in the past. But for one incipient group of Drupalers from around the country and around the world, it's the first get-together. Activities and even location are still coalescing; as a first meeting, this should be a pretty informal meet-and-greet.

People can be part of your site community without even visiting. 

A key axiom of business holds that marketing has three purposes:

1. Increase number of ordering customers
2. Increase frequency of each customer's orders
3. Increase amount of each customer's orders

With a web site, "orders" may have nothing to do with product sales; the concept may simply equate to interactions with your site (beginning with visits).
