Fixed: Google web search block
Posted August 29th, 2007 by DrupalaceRecap
As described earlier, I've placed many a Google web search block into Drupal sites, using Google AdSense for Search.

All to a single end: the blocks don't work. (Hey, consistency counts for something, right?)
It's always something: Google web search blocks don't work!
Posted August 27th, 2007 by DrupalaceI replaced Drupal's built-in search with Google search on several sites. From my Google AdSense account, I created the AdSense for Search code, and plugged into a Drupal block.
For a while, it seemed to work fine. The user selects whether to search on the web or on the site, inputs the search terms, and hits the button. Appropriate results show up on a "search results" page (which is a regular Drupal Page containing HTML code specified by Google, to catch and display the search results).
It's always something: "Read More" links dropping out
Posted August 24th, 2007 by DrupalaceThat's our Drupal: you'll be racing along, everything finally shiny and tuned and humming, and suddenly she'll throw a rod or blow a gasket or nip a node title or something.
Or maybe that's tech in general, not just Drupal. But anyway.
