As described earlier, I've placed many a Google web search block into Drupal sites, using Google AdSense for Search.

Okay, experts, stop snickering. Yes, the procedure for making custom ratings "stars" for the Fivestar module is pretty darn obvious to anyone who peeks into the module's files. But it doesn't come with those instructions, and I could have saved a little time had there been a few how-to notes.

Hosting for Your Drupal Creations
If you're making web sites, you need a server to dish up those sites. You need hosting.
For anyone pondering the difficult choice of hosting services, allow me to write a few words on those that I've used with Drupal. Some caveats for you to keep in mind:

Below are modules that sit not in my sites/all/modules directory, but in sites/all/modules_removed. That's a nice way of saying they don't play nice with my sites. They're getting the penalty box. They've been time out-ed.
